RISE

The Nathan project for rare diseases is committed to improving the standard of care and quality of life for children and their families. Our foundation is built from four pillars including research, inspiration, support, and education (RISE):

Research – Drive world class research. We collaborate with local, national, and international clinicians and scientists to identify the cause of diseases, with the combined goal of discovering new treatments and therapies to improve the lives of our families.

Inspiration – Sharing stories. Storytelling is a powerful tool to communicate the true impact of living with a rare disease. Through the art of storytelling, we raise awareness and understanding within our community, facilitating change.

Support – We provide information and an independent advocacy service for our families, assisting them to navigate through the healthcare system, and connecting them to other families.

Education – We aim to deliver annual rare disease masterclass programs to educate medical professionals on rare diseases and the Nathan model.
